Well, news has broken out all over the Stargate community about the latest move that MGM has taken. Ultimately, what will be going is after Season 5 is done airing or around the middle of it, Sci-Fi will not be airing any more episodes of Stargate Atlantis, and there will be a cliffhanger at the end of the show with a movie following it, wraping up the show.

Honestly, Stargate is the only reason why I watch TV on Friday nights/midnight on Friday/Saturday, and if the stop producing or airing the show, I'm ultimately going to stop watching TV. While I do have lots of channels on Satellite TV, most of the stuff on just doesn't appeal to me. Killing Atlantis will be the last move for anyone to do. Hopefully Sci-Fi will fight to change MGM's mind, but if they don't, it'll be a sad day for the Stargate Community. But if MGM doesn't change their mind, it's going to be a sad time ...
